I have just returned from an excellent skiing holiday with Babs and our two good friends John and Maddy Clavey. They are still there, in fact, having decided to spend the entire season in the beautiful Les Saisies, France. John works in the mornings and skis in the afternoon - perfect.
I have been reading the entire works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series and loved every minute of it. Having talked about writing for some time, Babs finally persuaded me to stop talking about it and write it.
I have the idea for a criminal psychologist working as a consultant for the Norfolk Constabulary in the east of England. I know the area reasonably well, having had a holiday home there for ten years or so. Also, I don't think that there's a police detective series that has been set in Norfolk?
As Babs says, time to stop bleating and get writing. To record progress, I've started this blog and I'll update it from time to time...
