First Draft Completed!

Celebration!
Cheers! It's taken just under 3 months to complete the first draft of The Pink Herring and I'm quietly impressed with the words per writing day average I've managed. The word count for the book stands at 100,176, so a reasonable size and I've managed no less than 66 versions, saving each new edition as I finish the working day.

So what does a working day look like? Well, I get up with Babs in the morning and we eat breakfast together. She goes to work and I start writing.

I break for lunch after cramming in a 9km bike ride to keep me fit and then straight back to it. I stop around 5:30 pm to start dinner the perfect house husband.

I've decided to release the draft to a few friendly reviewers, namely Babs and Mum to see if I'm on the right track. Personally, I love it.
